The Rural Business Show 2022
The first ever Rural Business Show will bring together a wide variety of rural businesses, policy makers, academics, large corporates, government leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs for a jam-packed day of networking, knowledge sharing and inspiring conversations.
Transcending the urban rural divide we are bringing organisations together to develop sustainable business ecosystems which benefit people, the planet and the economy.
Rural businesses have never been so important as we all traverse the global journey to net zero, delivering meaningful change and innovations which encompass so many of the intrinsic values that rural businesses naturally commit to – respect for our natural capital and its ecosystems, the value of social responsibility, sustainable supply chains, responsible
sourcing and transparent governance.
The show will give everyone the opportunity to explore potential collaborations and partnerships, gather practical advice, to find solutions providers, products and services, and to further develop business networks.

The Rural Business Group
The Rural Business Group enables rural businesses to access information via one single point. We work with organisations – who are commercial, community, and policy focused – any organisation who has something of use to offer to rural business, and in return help rural businesses to support their local economy and communities. We are for ALL the people who make rural business work. We are interested in working together – in breaking down barriers and not creating them.
Sharing insightful discussions and experiences through our podcast.
The Rural Business Group is created from the back of The Rural Business Awards as it was clear a community was building around the awards year on year. Rooted in business support; from the creation, to the set up and day to day running, we support you and your business. The Rural Business Group is for just that, for all rural business of all shapes and sizes.

How has remote working affected Rural Businesses – and is it here to stay?
In the second of our regular Roundtable events Anna spoke with Rural Business Group Members about their experiences of remote working throughout lockdown and how it has impacted their businesses and teams. The discussion allowed people to share their experiences, to listen to others from different sectors and and we discussed whether flexible working is here to stay – with some interesting results!
